Goodbye for Now.

I won't be back to writing posts until I've finished my work on the Graphic Novel "The Recreators" I'm doing some of the art on that project and my Parents health and that of my own has kept me away from that project for too long.

I'll see you on the other side of a Graphic Novel.

Happy Photos

See the above photo with my son, I'm happy in that photo.

Now look at the photos for "Its none of your business?" and "Why not sue me?"posts.

I'm just as happy in those two photos. They are bad pictures because I was taking the pictures myself. I look angry in those photos but I'm not. The photos were taken months before I wrote those posts. I saved those photos for an angry post but I wasn't angry when I wrote those posts. I knew part of my blog would be censored someday as it has been in the past.

I thought when I was hacked through a link that part of my blog would be gone. I waited till I was happy to write those angry posts. Why? To prove a point. You can't trust the media, mine or anyone else. Every word in those two posts were true but my photos and my mood while writing those posts was a lie.

I was angry when I thought up the post for "Its none of your business" but not when I wrote it. I don't write when I'm angry anymore, even if I am a better speller when I'm angry.

Its hard to find the truth in a world full of propaganda.

I don't have time to blog anymore.

I am trying to create new ways to create art. Ego free ways (my own ego and not others).
I'm trying to do the impossible in many different ways and no I'm not telling you any of my current projects. So do I have any reason to blog? I don't have time. My projects are secret and changing faster than I could blog about it. Is it time to say goodbye?

Dreams and other Things

Today I began to read on the internet about Lucid Dreaming. After reading several articles and one blog I decided to create my own blog about Lucid Dreaming (Lucid Dream Machine).

I will be removing the Followers feature from my five active blogs in the next couple of weeks.
I liked the original version of this feature but find the new version is ugly and hard to use.

I've changed my mind and will be keeping the Followers widget. 3/11/2009

Those that follow this blog will be getting an Art Flag and solo link on one of my other active blogs. New Art Flags will be appearing soon on my other blogs and I will begin posting more on those blogs.

I will be creating title art for my other blogs soon and I'm starting to over paint the world map for this blog. I started redesigning Europe yesterday and will begin to paint a lighter hue of blue in the oceans tonight. The world map is based on Buckminster Fuller's "one-world island in one world ocean." I added tectonic plates to this concept and grouped Antarctica with Australia.

The above scan is of an alien for a Sci-Fi Graphic Novel and is based on a Lucid Dream image.

I'm working on it

This blog is under construction. I won't be posting anything new until all the current Art Flags are finished and the title art is finished.

I've decided not to self censor this blog. I told the producer of a certain movie I worked on I would but I have changed my mind.

I won't be commenting on other blogs til remodeling of this blog is complete.

Crumbling Comments

I'm finding more and more blogs I can't leave a comment on. Is anyone else having these problems? My computer is running slow so this might be a problem just on my computer.

If I don't get it fixed in a few days I'll post a list of the blogs I can't leave comments on.

I'll call my Computer Guru tomorrow.

I can't leave comments on the blog The End of the Information Age.

This Canadian blog is one of my favorites and he's posting a lot of great stuff right now.

A Link List to save the World

I need your help. I am a communal artist without a group to commune with. To me art is meaningless without others to share the creative act with.

I became a communal artist when I lived in Lee's Summit, Missouri. I had a small basement apartment there, that I filled up with large abstract sculptures. The sculptures were wildly painted in bright colors.

My neighbor across the hallway saw into my apartment and asked if she could come in and look at my art. I answered without thinking.

"You can come in and see my art but only if you help me work on it."

As she walked into my apartment I handed her a small squeeze bottle of purple paint and told her to paint on any of the multicolored sculptures in any way she wanted. I told her If I didn't like it I could simply paint over what she did.

After a few minutes painting with me she asked if I would come to her party on Friday night and then let her guests come over and see my artwork. I told her I wasn't a party person but her guests could come over and see my artwork if they painted on the sculpture like she was.

Every Friday till I moved, my apartment would be opened to guests that helped me paint my artwork. I want to do the same thing with this blog.

This blog is an lab for me. If you've followed this blog for long you've seen it change many times in the way it looks and reads. When I'm making a lot of changes to this blog, it means I'm scared to write something. Next Monday I'll be writing about my losing my insight into the spirit world in January. Real or imagined this lost spirit vision makes me feel blind and deaf to a greater world than this one. On the positive side I am more focused than I've ever been in my life. My art is moving forward at a rapid pace.

With your help I want to do an Art Project without a deadline. This Art Project will have a lifeline. This isn't a contest or a giveaway but an exchange of art.

I want you to help me put together a Link List to save the World. If you go down to the bottom of the right side of this blog you'll see my A to Z link list. This is a work in progress.

I want the the readers of this blog to pick the best links that promote Imagination, Education, Peace and Nature. Send me comments telling me which links you think are the best. The rules for this are simple, one letter of alphabet for each link. I have links I think work.

Bees for Development
Chandra
Dark Roasted Blend
ESCHER
Fungi

JP Aerospace

Museum of Lost Wonder
Nature Conservancy
Open Learning
Project InSECT

Sea Shepherd
TED
Unite Against Bullying

Xerces Society

I like all the links I have listed now but not all these links will help save the world from the negatives of reality. If you see your blog on the Link List, know that I plan to move most of the blogs to my blog list. If I use your link suggestion I'll send you a small college like the one you see on this post. You can do anything you want with this little college. Make a paper airplane, start a fire or paste it in a scrapbook.

I have removed my snail mail address

I have removed my email address

You can contact me by email or snail mail to get a little college from me if I choose your link.

Now for the second part of this little world wide art project. I am creating a college of the world to go at the top of this blog. Even if you don't want to play the pick a link part of this project, you can help me construct the world map in two ways.

1. I need small political maps in different languages from magazines.
2. I need photos of lava from magazines.

I'll make small color copies of the finished world map and send it to everybody that helps with this project. The natural world college is finished and now I just need to finish the lava bed it floats on with political maps burning in the lava.

If you decide to be part of this art project and share your address with me, I will not share it with anyone else.

Please don't spam me or send me junk mail. There will be an update of the Link List Project each Monday. This post was put online Monday Feb. 2nd 2009. The writing and art was started the day before on the 1st.

I'm finished with my link list . I will be posting the link list art in place of the title next Monday.

Comment on Comments

Comments are the engine that drive this blog or any blog. You get to decide what I write.
I am a communal writer and artist. I am not a fine artist. If I get negative feedback from comments, I write about something else.

I sometimes give flags to blogs that change the direction of this blog.
Many of the blogs that have flags I no longer read but it does not change the fact they made a change in me.

Blog Dog

I blog because most days I don't have the energy to do anything else.

Nah, that's not it! I love to blog. I'm sick but drawing takes less energy than this.

Some days when I'm down as far as I can go I just live for the comments. I don't even think that's silly.

I love reading other peoples blogs. I love the artwork posted and even the You Tube videos.

Between Imagination Vendors and The Rant three Bully Tales will pop up in the days to come.

Skateboard Bully Finished Story 9/22
Mugger Bully Finished Story 9/22
Movie Bully Finished Story 9/23

I do stupid things in all three stories and become a bully myself as I fight against bullies.

All three stories are as true as I remember. I won't paint myself in a positive light in these stories. All three stories deal with sensitive issues in our world so I'm going to work hard on these stories to keep stereotypes from being reinforced by the telling of the tale.

Reinforcing stereotypes is a form of lying. Many people don't seem to care who is hurt by their blogs but I do. If any of my stories can stop some one from making the mistakes I have then this blog has worth.

Health Careless is the next short story I'll be finishing before I move this blog forward again. 9/23

How to deal with Bullies

How should people deal with bullies?

Handle it yourself by standing up to the bully. I've done that with mixed outcomes.

To me the best way to handle a bully is a fine line between walking away from the conflict and forcing the bully to face his or hers own fear and shame if the conflict erupts into violence.

I've done this many times when I had no other choice.

I've been guilty of bullying bullies and that is really something no one should do.

When does teasing become bullying? I've been guilty of crossing that line myself. Words can be deadly weapons and I've hurt many people with my words.

One of the most effective ways to deal with bullies is not to deal with them. Two members of my family have been bullies all their lives. I don't see my aunt and uncle anymore. No bully is worth your time.

Write a story about the bully. That's what I'm doing on this blog. I'm trying to understand what I did right and what I did wrong in dealing with bullies. I hope my stories help my grandchildren deal with bullies. I hope my stories can help people of all ages deal with bullies.

Tell someone anyone about being bullied. I've told my parents, told the teacher, called the police, talked to the media, protested in the streets, and went to Human Resources with my complaints about bullies. I've even shoved a video camera in the face of some rich and powerful bullies.

There is no proven way to deal with bullies. I'll keep telling Bully Tales and maybe we can find a way to put an end to these tiny terrorist by softening their hearts before they become tomorrows criminals.

Fried Eyes

Taking a break from blogging to let my eyes heal from too much writing on the computer.

Plan to post a lot of drawings and videos when I return, which knowing me will be sooner than later.

The novel I'm working on (the first draft is hand written) is going faster than I expected.

Mixing my own strange life with fantasy seems to be working.

Thanks for the comments as they keep me going on my writing and sometimes points me in the right direction.

The Novel

For many years I wanted to write a novel but could not find the courage to do so.
Now I am putting words to paper in a river of thoughts that sit graphite upon pulp in fluid movement.

Virtual friends from around the world have guided me to this undertaking with kind words from a global web.

In ancient times to find your spirit guides you had to alter your sense of reality. Now we are all just a keypad and a video screen away from a human network of spirit guides.

I thank you all.

One Honest Comment

This is my 5th blog. I decided to delete my first blog and lost full control of three of my blogs.
I have a few comments on my other blogs but I asked friends to leave those comments so they don't really count. I even left a comment to myself explaining I was temped to ask a group of movie makers to leave comments. After that silly self promoting stunt I decided until I got one honest comment, I wouldn't add any new posts to this blog. The next time I checked this blog I found that one honest comment. Thanks Gloria for that first comment and the second one.
I was writing this blog to promote my artwork but now I'm writing this blog because I want to.

Writing the Endangered Truth

This blog had an earlier title called the Inflatable Studio and later changed to Inflatable Id Studio.
After some of my posts were removed I remembered an oil painting done by a friend where she got angry at the zoo where she was doing this work of art in front of the public. My friend was painting an endangered species of life and the zoo wanted her to stop. When she found out why the zoo management wanted her to paint something else, she painted the words
PAINTING THE ENDANGERED TRUTH on the top of her fine art. One of the zoo's greatest sponsor was building a strip mall on this species main breeding grounds which could have caused the extinction of this unique life form. The zoo was supposed to be the protector of all life, not the protector of the wealth of all its sponsors. My friend defaced her own artwork to tell the truth.
This blog is named after her moment of truth.

What is the Truth?

At the first of the year I wanted to tell the truth instead of holding back the truth on this blog.
This blog started out as an Art Portfolio but later became a Love Letter to my grandchildren after they were born. For Christmas my oldest son Mark gave me a DVD called Urban Explorers Into The Darkness. My son was interviewed in the movie and shot some video for the production.
I decided I would help promote the movie by telling how my phone was tapped after Mark got in trouble with his urban exploring activities. After that first post of the year I decided to tell some stories about my work on Begging for Billionaires, a movie that has yet to be released. BFB was a movie about political corruption in the city of my birth. I also posted a political cartoon. All five posts were removed from my blog. I tried to post the political cartoon a second time and it was removed within seconds. I had found the limits of what I could post on this blog. I can only guess that someone flagged my posts and Blogger took a look at those posts and decided I had gone to far.
I know my posts are true. If they were flagged, the people that flagged my posts know they were true. The people at Blogger have no way to know if anything I say is true.
I'll keep posting and you can decide what you want to believe.
