Mermaid Monday; The Cove

I finally saw the movie "The Cove" last night and it effected me deeply. Hannah Fraser was in the movie and even without her fish tail she is a Mermaid in her heart trying to protect Dolphin from cruel death at the hands of cruel men with lies filling their hearts.

To Japan; killing Whales and Dolphins makes your country very tiny.

Family is so important and they look a handsome bunch! Great for that young man to have them all around on his birthday. Don't know anything about the film Cove but it must be right up your street with the mermaid theme. Hope all is going well.

Norway is pretty good at killing whales too, from time to time.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I belive we can show animals respect and still eat them. The way whales are killed is not respectful, in any way, in my opinion.

Joan, the movie The Cove is very hard to watch as hundreds of Dolphins are killed and then feed to Japanese school children. Because of the burning of fossil fuels Dolphins and Whales have high levels of mercury. So the feeding of toxic meat to children is another level of cruelty that Japan must deal with.

There are no mermaids in The Cove but there is Hannah as an Activist without her mermaid persona.

Desiree, I know Norway kills whales but that is all I know about Norway's whaling.

I am not a vegetarian but I have given up all sea food because of the level of mercury and overfishing that Japan blames not on humans but whales and dolphins. I have given up eggs for breakfast because of the cruelty of egg production in factory farms.
