Weekend Time Traveler

Friday I'm in the 1940's watching a gumshoe detective dance with a woman in red in the headlights of a 1941 fully tricked out Chevy car.

Saturday I'm in the old west in front of a Saloon watching a gun fight play out between two men over a woman.

Sunday I watch a tribe of cave men as two of them fight over a mate in prehistoric times.

The truth is I'm not time traveling at all. I'm working on two different productions of short movies.

It was fun and I learned from other directors but now I must focus on my own productions as I travel into my own future.

Good luck with all these projects currently evolving. You seem to have really created a place of calm within, in which to bring out all your magnificent concepts.

I hope to have some photos attached soon to this post.

I'm working on my first HD movie shot on my own camera.

I plan to shot 'The Painting of Rose Pearl' tomorrow:)

Today is my son's birthday. My little boy is 26 and my next post is the crazy but true story of his birth.

Thanks for all you comments as your words have gotten me through some dark times.

Mr. Volrath,
I found your blog because I Googled "Sense of smell comes and goes." As I read your posts and looked at your art I was thinking, "Wow, this guy thinks like I do." And was wondering if there is a particular "type" of creative brain. If there was a name for it, that might explain some things for me about the course of my life. Then I got to a place where you explain that you had suffered a head injury. Did I injure my brain at some point? Did you not injure your brain, but found that a head injury was a good explanation for being like this? Whatever "this" is. Godspeed, Mumina

Sr. Mumina

Many of my friends say I talk and write about my head injury too much but I felt there must be others like me somewhere.

If we are alike then this blog has served a purpose that was my original intent for these writings.

I will do some posts to try to explain how I think my mind works and I hope this will be helpful to you.

Thank God.

I will try to write the post in response to your comments this weekend. I believe the creative process is using up part of our brains meant for other things.

I hope my next post can answer some things for you and if not at least you won't feel alone in this strange condition.

I have been in this strange condition for a long time, a few more days won't hurt. It's been a bit of an epiphany already. Enjoy your weekend. I look forward to your posts.

To Sr. Mumina

You seem to be returning the favor, as your last comment has shown me a pattern in my posts and links on this blog I was blind too.

I now believe this is a type of creative brain and has little or nothing to do with my head injury all those years ago.

My sense of smell returned yesterday after three weeks without smelling anything.
